Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment methodology for a
range of diagnoses and challenges, including Autism and ADHD.
Because we’ve seen incredible results + it’s backed by science.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) uses concepts that are familiar (such as reinforcement, prompting, and generalizing) in systematic ways to teach skills and to replace problematic behaviors with more appropriate ones.
Using evidence-based ABA Therapy, the team at Florida Home Support Center sets an individualized strategy that supports each child in reaching his/her goals and milestones. Additionally we provide the right tools for parents to keep improving the development of their child.
We provide scientifically-validated Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mental, Behavioral and Neurodevelopmental disorders. We primarily focus treatment on areas that have the most profound and immediate impact on quality of life and daily living activities.
ABA therapy services are provided in a variety of settings such as home, school and community based on the child’s needs. ABA programs are not “one size fits all” but are tailored to individual needs. For that reason, describing what a therapy looks like is complex since a session may vary from one individual to another.
Therapies begin with an initial evaluation to determine the child’s needs and based on the results a treatment program is designed. This process includes not only the goals focused on the reduction of maladaptive behaviors, but also the skills that will be taught, the interventions that will be applied during the sessions, the intensity of the treatment, i.e., the number of hours of intervention considered necessary to achieve the desired results, and which professionals will be part of the team in charge of implementing the treatment program. After this process, sessions begin to be conducted in the space or spaces where the behavioral problems occur. It is essential that families are involved in the sessions. One of the main objectives is to provide families with the necessary tools to ensure the continuity of the treatment plan.
